We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the highest standards of safety. Your duties will include managing and developing warehouse staff, implementing operational procedures, monitoring inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety regulations, including the critical use of PPE. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management, and a commitment to fostering a positive and safe work environment. This role requires the ability to make quick decisions, solve problems effectively, and drive continuous improvement within the logistics operation. While your primary focus will be supervision, occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be necessary. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day warehouse activities and staff.
- Develop and implement efficient operational procedures and workflows.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and control.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
- Enforce all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements.
- Manage warehouse resources and equipment effectively.
- Occasionally perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Commitment to safety and understanding of the importance of PPE.
