Join our dedicated team as a Forklift Operator in Detroit, Michigan. This essential role involves operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials throughout our warehouse and distribution center. You will be responsible for safely loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with order picking and inventory management. Maintaining a safe work environment is our top priority, and all operators must strictly adhere to safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe forklift operation procedures. Certification for forklift operation is required. This position demands excellent attention to detail, spatial awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting. You will also be involved in performing routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse efficiently.

- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE and safe operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification/license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
