We are looking for a reliable and industrious Material Handler to join our Cincinnati, Ohio warehouse facility. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our logistics network, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and stored efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include operating various types of warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), to transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies. You will also be involved in receiving, stocking, and order picking processes. A strong commitment to safety is essential, and all employees are required to follow established safety procedures, including the diligent use of PPE. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to perform repetitive tasks, and consistent lifting of materials up to 75 lbs. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform frequent lifting of materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Physical strength and stamina for frequent lifting and moving of heavy items.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
