Seeking dependable Warehouse Associates to join our team in Boise, Idaho. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics network. Your duties will encompass receiving and putting away stock, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean and organized. Safety is paramount in our operations, and we provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, the physical ability to handle tasks requiring lifting, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar capacity is beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accept and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory in designated racking and storage locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely for shipment and stage them for loading.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles and trailers.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and consistently use required PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational goals.
- Engage in activities requiring regular lifting and physical movement.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or related field is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety practices.
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
