Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling customer orders, packing and staging items for shipment, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our distribution center. We emphasize safety and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of handling tasks involving lifting, and possesses a strong team spirit. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Prepare orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational targets.
- Perform duties requiring regular lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and wearing PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
