Become a vital part of our Cincinnati, Ohio logistics team as a Material Handler! We are looking for dedicated individuals to assist in the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. This role involves a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing orders for shipment. Your contributions are essential to maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring product availability. We emphasize a strong culture of Safety and require strict adherence to all procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and stock materials in designated locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to pick lists or scanner directives.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Operate manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all Safety protocols and guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in inventory management and stocktaking activities.
- Perform basic equipment checks and report any malfunctions.
- Lift and move materials as required, adhering to proper Lifting techniques.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure operational flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent Lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and general logistics principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe working environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
