We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and inventory locations, ensuring proper placement and rotation.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
