We are seeking a diligent Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, cycle counting, and assisting with inventory audits. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming inventory against shipping documents.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated locations.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve minor inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date inventory records using our system.
- Assist with the preparation of inventory reports.
- Ensure all inventory is handled and stored properly to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ).
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed, following all Safety guidelines.
- Support the broader warehouse team in achieving operational goals within our Logistics framework.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role. Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills. Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasional Lifting up to 40 lbs. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Understanding of basic warehouse operations and Logistics . Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE . Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
