Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Accurately pick orders based on customer requirements using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure products are protected during transit.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and using appropriate PPE.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth flow of logistics.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Work Environment: This position operates in a warehouse environment, which can be noisy and temperature-fluctuating. Proper PPE will be provided and is mandatory for certain tasks. Adherence to all safety protocols is paramount.
