We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This is a critical position within our warehouse operations, ensuring that our clients receive their goods efficiently and correctly. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various warehouse equipment and technology to fulfill orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified requirements.
- Operate handheld scanners and other warehouse technology to manage inventory.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a warehouse setting. We provide a safe working environment and require all employees to wear appropriate PPE at all times. Understanding of logistics flow within the warehouse is beneficial. Consistent lifting is a requirement of this role.
