We are seeking an organized and efficient Shipping Clerk to join our busy logistics operations in the heart of New York City, New York. This role is vital for ensuring that all outgoing orders are processed accurately, securely, and dispatched on time. You will be responsible for preparing shipments, generating shipping labels, verifying order details, and coordinating with carriers for timely pickups. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced urban warehouse environment. Responsibilities include accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring products are protected during transit, and maintaining all shipping documentation. You will also be involved in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the shipping area, ensuring smooth workflow. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting of packages up to 50 lbs. Safety is paramount in our operations, and adherence to all safety guidelines and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory.
