Join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a Material Handler! We are seeking strong, reliable individuals to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse efficiently and safely. Your role is fundamental to our supply chain operations, ensuring that materials are moved, stored, and prepared for distribution with accuracy and care. You will be responsible for operating various material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, to transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items throughout the facility. This position requires physical strength and stamina, as frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) will be involved. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure that materials are handled correctly and placed in the appropriate locations. We are deeply committed to workplace safety; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety vests and steel-toed boots, is mandatory. You will work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel, including pickers, packers, and supervisors, to maintain workflow and meet operational deadlines. Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred, and proficiency with different types of material handling equipment is a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Organize materials within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.
- Ensure all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any issues.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Contribute to a productive and safe warehouse environment.
