Our Tampa, Florida location is hiring an Inventory Clerk to support our warehouse operations. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with inventory control procedures. This role is fundamental to the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations, ensuring that our stock levels are precise and readily available. You will play a key role in minimizing errors and optimizing stock management. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who are eager to contribute to a successful team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts of inventory items.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes, ensuring accurate data entry.
- Conduct audits of inventory storage locations.
- Generate inventory reports as requested.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all inventory.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Support physical inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is a plus.
