Join our warehouse team in Detroit, Michigan, as a Warehouse Worker! This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in the daily operations of our facility, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks. Your responsibilities will cover a range of activities including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. We prioritize the safety of our employees, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and active participation in our logistics flow. Full training will be provided for our warehouse systems and equipment. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy working as part of a team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the warehouse and logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and put away incoming stock.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Load and unload freight from trucks.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all established safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- Contribute to team efforts and achieve daily goals.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and wear PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
- Good physical stamina and a strong work ethic.
- Reliable and punctual.
