We are looking for an Order Picker to join our team in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida. This position is critical for ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. The Order Picker will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, identifying and retrieving the correct items, and preparing them for shipment. Success in this role hinges on attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to Safety . As a key player in our logistics network, you will contribute to our reputation for reliability and speed. We provide all necessary PPE , and a focus on safety is paramount. This role involves regular Lifting and requires the ability to work diligently in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from warehouse stock according to order sheets or electronic pick lists.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package selected items appropriately for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, contributing to overall warehouse organization.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE , such as safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support the logistics team.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and inventory systems.
- Capacity for moderate to heavy Lifting , typically up to 45 lbs.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently.
- Excellent observational skills for quality control.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
