Become an integral part of our warehouse operations as an Order Picker in St. Louis, Missouri! We're looking for energetic individuals to join our team and help us fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. As an Order Picker, your main duties will involve locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or digital orders, often using scanning technology. You will ensure the correct items and quantities are picked, packaged, and prepared for shipment. Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount in this role. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all team members to follow established safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is a physically demanding role that requires consistent Lifting and movement throughout the warehouse. Your contributions are vital to our logistics success. - Accurately picking customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locating items in various warehouse locations, including high shelves.
- Ensuring the correct quantity and type of items are picked for each order.
- Packing picked items securely for shipment, maintaining product integrity.
- Transporting picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Conducting basic quality checks on picked items.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Following all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Proper use of PPE at all times.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.
This role requires the ability to perform repetitive Lifting of items weighing up to 30 pounds. Understanding of warehouse logistics is beneficial, but training will be provided.
