Join our dynamic logistics team as a Warehouse Associate in Columbus, Ohio! We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to our fast-paced warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of goods from receiving to dispatch. Your responsibilities will include receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, accurately picking and packing orders, and preparing them for shipment. You'll operate various warehouse equipment, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and adhere to all company policies and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse setting and a commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving, unpacking, and verifying incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Conducting regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery (training provided if needed).
- Adhering to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Reporting any damaged goods or discrepancies immediately.
This position requires the ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. A keen understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles is beneficial.
