We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. Your role will involve supervising order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities, as well as managing inventory levels and ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders. You will play a key part in optimizing our logistics processes and driving continuous improvement within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and best practices in logistics. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
- Oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure the efficient and timely processing of all orders.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely.
- Liaise with other departments and external vendors.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage staff effectively and resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and ensuring PPE compliance.
- Ability to handle tasks involving significant Lifting and physical demands.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
