We are hiring a dedicated Material Handler for our state-of-the-art facility in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient flow of materials throughout the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include moving, organizing, and staging materials to support production and fulfillment. This position requires physical exertion and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure timely movement of goods and accurate inventory placement. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move, sort, and stage materials according to production and shipping schedules.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment and report any defects or maintenance needs.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through proper staging and organization.
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines meticulously.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Ability to handle frequent Lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work shifts as scheduled.
- Familiarity with logistics terminology is a plus.
