Our Des Moines, Iowa Distribution Center is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our growing team! In this vital role, you will contribute to the efficient flow of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This position is central to our logistics network. We are deeply committed to workplace safety , providing all necessary PPE and comprehensive training on procedures and equipment. The role demands physical capability, including the ability to handle regular Lifting of up to 60 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload inbound shipments accurately.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (training available).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations meticulously.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Work cooperatively with team members to meet performance goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Capability for significant Lifting , up to 60 lbs, on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Willingness to wear and use all required PPE and strictly adhere to all safety standards.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
