Job Summary:
Kansas City, Missouri's premier logistics center is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all safety standards. You will coordinate the movement of goods, manage inventory, and supervise a team of warehouse associates. Your responsibilities will include optimizing workflow, maintaining accurate records, and implementing best practices in warehouse management. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics . We emphasize a strong commitment to workplace safety and provide all required PPE . Significant Lifting may be involved, and candidates must be physically capable. We are looking for a proactive individual who can drive operational excellence and foster a productive team environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff on procedures and safety protocols.
  • Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (certification may be required).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role.
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures and logistics .
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage physical tasks, including Lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE .
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
