Job Summary:
Are you a driven individual looking for a dynamic role in Fort Worth, Texas? Our logistics company is seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our fulfillment team. In this essential position, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are paramount to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work quickly and methodically, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You'll be a critical link in our supply chain, contributing directly to our logistics success. We emphasize the importance of safety, requiring the use of appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick orders based on pick lists or scanner instructions.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
  • Verify order accuracy before packing to minimize errors.
  • Label packages correctly for shipment.
  • Maintain productivity standards for picking and packing.
  • Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Follow all safety regulations and wear designated PPE.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
  • Capacity for repetitive lifting of items, typically up to 25-35 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Good communication skills.
