Job Summary:
Are you a detail-oriented professional passionate about inventory management? We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for our San Francisco, California facility. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is critical to our logistics and overall business operations. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective inventory control systems, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing stock levels. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and refine inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage and maintain inventory records in our warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and sales teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee the proper storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Train staff on inventory control best practices and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or logistics.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 30 lbs as needed.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE.
