Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Colorado Springs, Colorado! We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to support our warehouse operations. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks critical to the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. This includes receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, teamwork, and maintaining a productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and stock merchandise accurately.
- Pick orders using RF scanners and prepare them for packing and shipping.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper segregation and weight distribution.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent scanning and data entry.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves, at all times.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and other operational tasks as assigned.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics and distribution processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus, but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines meticulously.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts.
- Comfortable using RF scanners and basic technology.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE.
