We will work together Mechanic (2 positions) As a Mechanic, you will participate in work and projects in the mechanical and hydraulic fields, as well as in the Thermal, Gas, and Water departments. The Drinking Water Production unit aims to guarantee, at all times, the continuity and maintenance of all facilities, including treatment, pumping, relays, reservoirs, the water table, the water jet, and emergency diesel generators, to ensure the supply of drinking water to the entire canton, as well as to the energy facilities in support of a sustainable Geneva. Your tasks will include: Participating in the maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting of the Drinking Water and Gas activity on behalf of third parties; Contributing to the efficiency of the unit and the external image of the company and your skills. You should have knowledge in mechanics, hydraulic systems, and equipment such as pumps, valves, and other control and monitoring devices; You should be able to stay informed about the evolution of techniques in the field; We expect you to have a sense of responsibility, a synthesizing mind, and to be available, versatile, and demonstrate teamwork skills, along with the ability to work under pressure. A good general physical condition (certified by a medical notice for protective equipment) is necessary. You will also be required to perform heavy work in various positions. Profile: Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a mechanic, polymechanic, or equivalent; Open-circuit mask diploma or commitment to obtain it within a year after hiring.
