About this offer Director GeneralThe School of Geneva (Ecolint) is seeking an exceptional leader to become its Director General, offering a rare opportunity to guide one of the world's most influential schools at a pivotal moment in its evolution. Founded as the world’s first school, Ecolint holds a unique place in global education. Today, it serves around 4,300 students across three campuses, delivering a range of programs in both English and French – including bilingual streams – within a diverse and open-minded community. Rooted in the principles of peace, inclusion, and solidarity, the school is committed to developing young people with the courage and capacity to shape a just and joyful future.The Director General is Ecolint’s Chief Executive and Leader, responsible for overall leadership and management. Working closely with the Governing Board, they will ensure coherence across educational, financial, and operational functions, while supporting the distinct identity of each campus. This demanding and high-profile role requires a values-driven leader who can navigate a complex and evolving landscape. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and Ecolint’s founding values, alongside the ability to combine sound financial judgment with a clear focus on students, staff, and community. Building trust, leading transparently, and communicating with clarity and purpose will be essential. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of senior leadership in multicultural environments, ideally within schools. They will be an outstanding communicator, fluent in English and French, with the gravitas and intercultural sensitivity to inspire confidence among diverse stakeholders.
