Our Salt Lake City, Utah distribution center is looking for motivated Order Pickers to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in retrieving specified items from inventory to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. This role demands precision, speed, and a dedicated adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse locations based on pick lists or electronic device instructions.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jack, cart).
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements to minimize errors.
- Maintain productivity standards and meet daily picking quotas.
- Ensure that all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counts and stock checks.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support overall logistics functions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse picking is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and item numbers accurately.
- Experience with RF scanning technology is a significant advantage.
- Must be able to work efficiently and accurately in a physically demanding role, including frequent walking, bending, and occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Reliability and a positive attitude towards work.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety guidelines.
