This key role ensures the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments, acting as a critical link in our supply chain and Logistics network. You will be responsible for inspecting goods upon arrival, verifying contents against shipping documents, preparing shipments for departure, and maintaining organized receiving and shipping areas. Upholding our commitment to employee well-being, we provide all necessary PPE and enforce rigorous Safety protocols. This position requires physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of packages and materials, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and condition of goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Process outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and proper packaging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain clean and organized shipping and receiving docks.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize required PPE diligently.
- Track inventory levels and report discrepancies.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Contribute to a smooth and efficient Logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and basic Logistics concepts.
- Commitment to following Safety guidelines and using PPE .
