We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
- Track and manage the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring proper documentation.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and damage.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to optimize stock rotation and storage.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed to support overall logistics flow.
- Must be comfortable with moderate to heavy Lifting requirements, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- A strong commitment to Safety and the correct use of PPE is essential.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting.
