We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Distribution Center Associates to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be a key player in our warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient handling of goods from receipt to shipment. Your responsibilities will span various functions, including order picking, packing, sorting, loading, and unloading. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment. Adherence to all safety guidelines, including the appropriate use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Sort and organize merchandise for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of products.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training or certification may be provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Capacity for frequent lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the consistent use of required PPE.
