We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Tampa, Florida! As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the receiving process. Your duties will include unloading delivery trucks, inspecting incoming goods for damage or discrepancies, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and accurately logging all received items into our inventory system. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting smooth warehouse operations. You must have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds. A commitment to safety is essential; you will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Proficiency with basic computer systems and a willingness to learn our specific WMS are necessary. Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics environment is highly preferred.
