We are actively recruiting for a Picker/Packer position to join our busy warehouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in processing customer orders efficiently and accurately. Your main responsibilities will include picking items from our warehouse shelves and then carefully packing them for shipment, playing a vital part in our overall logistics and fulfillment process.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements, using pick lists or scanning technology.
- Inspect products for any damage or defects before packaging.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure items are protected during transit.
- Securely pack items into boxes, ensuring proper fill levels and labeling.
- Apply shipping labels and other required documentation accurately.
- Stage packed orders for outgoing shipment and assist with loading when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock organization.
- Wear and properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform tasks that require consistent movement and some moderate Lifting of products up to 40 pounds.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets within our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a pick/pack or warehouse environment is a strong advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets or scanner data.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and correct item selection.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and moderate Lifting.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions meticulously.
