We are hiring an Order Picker to join our efficient warehouse operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As an Order Picker, you will be a key player in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, contributing significantly to our logistics success.
Responsibilities:
- Read order sheets or use a scanner to accurately identify items to be picked.
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves, ensuring the correct product and quantity.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage before proceeding.
- Place picked items into appropriate containers or onto carts for transport to packing stations.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed, following all Safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and materials are stored properly.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform tasks that may involve moderate Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Contribute to overall team efficiency and the smooth running of our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and moderate Lifting.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
