Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying against shipping manifests.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Pack items securely, using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of the logistics team.
- Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge related to logistics and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- A dedication to contributing to a safe and efficient logistics operation.
