Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles, workstations, and common areas.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Report any damaged goods or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics operations.
- Participate actively in team efforts and safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or labor-intensive role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient logistics operation in NYC.
