Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a new challenge in Phoenix, Arizona? We are hiring experienced professionals to operate forklifts and manage materials within our state-of-the-art distribution center. Your role will be critical in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of inventory, from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, ensuring proper placement and security.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas and production lines.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness and report any defects.
- Comply with all warehouse safety standards and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting and stock verification.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment within the logistics chain.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge in warehouse operations and safety.
- Uphold a strong commitment to a safe and hazard-free working environment.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with demonstrable experience.
- Proficiency with various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
- Physical capability for tasks involving frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Flexibility in work schedule to meet operational demands.
- Dedication to contributing to a safe and productive warehouse operation.
