Join our team in Boise, Idaho, as an Order Picker! In this essential warehouse role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and retrieving products to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and efficiency are key to our logistics success and ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll work within our facility, using scanning technology to locate items and confirm selections. This position requires physical activity and a keen eye for detail. We prioritize a safe working environment, so adherence to all safety guidelines and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role is fundamental to our daily operations and contributes significantly to the overall performance of our distribution center. Become a vital part of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from specified warehouse locations based on order tickets and scanner prompts.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product details to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for further processing in packing and shipping.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in assigned areas.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Wear and use all required PPE correctly and consistently.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock putaway as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse experience, particularly as an Order Picker, is a strong asset. Ability to read and understand pick lists, product labels, and instructions. Familiarity with RF scanning devices is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Physical capability to walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift. A strong dedication to safety and the proper use of PPE is essential. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Good communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
