We are looking for energetic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our fast-paced fulfillment center in Los Angeles, California. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations by accurately picking customer orders, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring they meet our quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, speed, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse efficiently to retrieve items and assembling them into complete orders for our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or scanner.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy before and after packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and labels.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE is required.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
