Our Houston, Texas warehouse is seeking a diligent and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient processing of goods within our facility. Key duties include receiving and unloading shipments, accurately stocking inventory, picking and packing orders for customers, and preparing items for dispatch. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and speed is essential for meeting operational demands. This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of goods, standing for extended periods, and operating various warehouse equipment safely. We place a strong emphasis on safety, and all employees must adhere to company policies, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Assemble and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with audits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity targets.
- Utilize required PPE for safety compliance.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work, including frequent lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
- Commitment to safety procedures and the use of PPE.
