Job Summary:
Are you an experienced professional seeking a challenging role in warehouse operations? We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler at our busy facility in Sacramento, California. This position is key to maintaining the efficient flow of materials throughout our logistics center. You will be responsible for managing inventory, operating equipment, and ensuring the safe and timely movement of goods. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Receive, identify, and store incoming inventory properly.
  • Pick and stage materials for outgoing shipments.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper working order.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring the correct use of all necessary PPE .
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Assist in the training of new team members on material handling procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Valid forklift operator certification and proven proficiency.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including frequent lifting of up to 70 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and consistent PPE usage.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
