Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
- Stack and store inventory in designated locations, maintaining organization.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from obstructions.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and order fulfillment.
- Follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
- Perform tasks involving lifting and moving of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid forklift certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics operations.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and balance.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
