Our facility in Huntsville, Alabama, is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your efforts are crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring efficient handling of goods and timely order fulfillment. We prioritize a Safe and productive work environment and are seeking individuals committed to these principles.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels within the warehouse.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and Safe work area, following all established procedures.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist in optimizing our Logistics processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar operational role is advantageous.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic Logistics.
- Dedication to workplace Safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
