Our Kansas City, Missouri Distribution Center is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team! This role is fundamental to ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick items from inventory according to order specifications.
- Pack orders securely for safe transit.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and use of PPE.
