Our Tampa, Florida facility is looking for energetic Warehouse Associates to join our dynamic team. This position is vital for the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations, from receiving goods to dispatching them. As a Warehouse Associate, you will handle a variety of tasks contributing to efficient logistics and inventory control. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, and we expect our team members to uphold these standards. Your role will involve manual labor, operating equipment, and ensuring the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and system updates.
- Organize and maintain warehouse cleanliness and tidiness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Support team members in achieving daily operational goals.
- Follow established lifting procedures and safe handling practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics principles.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using required PPE.
