Join our fast-paced distribution center in Nashville, Tennessee, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick orders and prepare them for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in our logistics chain, ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse using pick lists, locating items, scanning products, and packaging them securely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick the items).
- Prepares orders by picking items accurately from shelves.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials and methods to ensure safe transit.
- Process and document orders accurately.
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize warehouse layout.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Follow all company safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Meet productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Understand and adhere to lifting guidelines for products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and shipping labels.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
