Join our dynamic Fulfillment Associate team in Chicago, Illinois! We are seeking motivated individuals to play a crucial role in our e-commerce logistics operations. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This fast-paced role requires attention to detail, physical dexterity, and a commitment to meeting customer needs. You will be essential in ensuring our products reach customers quickly and correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a scanner or pick list.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure they match the order.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, e-commerce fulfillment, or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
