Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Colorado Springs, Colorado? We are actively recruiting for this vital role within our busy warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our distribution center. This position demands precision, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts in a demanding logistics environment. Your role is essential in maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange inventory.
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Safely transport materials from receiving to storage, and from storage to shipping areas.
- Verify the accuracy of inventory being moved against shipping and receiving documents.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional heavy lifting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some weekends if needed.
