You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating workflows, optimizing inventory management, and enforcing all safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain operations. This position requires the ability to motivate a team, resolve issues effectively, and maintain a high level of operational excellence. Regular lifting up to 40 pounds may be required during operational support. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and you will be responsible for ensuring all team members understand and adhere to safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices and safety procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and oversee cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain equipment and facility in good working order.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds when necessary for operational support.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
