Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our vital logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within our warehouse. Your proficiency ensures the smooth flow of inventory from receiving to shipping. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and possesses a strong understanding of warehouse operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining order accuracy and supporting all aspects of our logistics functions. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
  • Pick and stage orders for shipment.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away of inventory.
  • Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counting as needed.
  • Support other warehouse functions as directed by supervisors.

Requirements:
  • Valid forklift operator certification is required.
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
  • Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, and moderate physical exertion.
  • Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear assigned PPE.
