Our Dallas, Texas facility is looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to manage incoming goods and ensure the accuracy of our inventory. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that all products are accounted for, inspected, and properly stored. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to maintain efficient receiving processes. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to Safety are essential. We require adherence to all company protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments accurately.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Log all incoming inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Prepare goods for distribution by stocking them in appropriate locations.
- Maintain organized and clean receiving areas to ensure Safety.
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting equipment safely.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and audits as needed.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or a related logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Proficiency in using computer systems and basic data entry.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
